I am childless (not by choice) and was in childbearing years during an era when it was very difficult to adopt in the U.S. I had choices that I couldn't afford (Russia, China, Korea). I am not one to judge others but I had to when it came to abortion for convenience sake. My best friend was adopted and I can't imagine life without her. I saw a film of an abortion and begged an acquaintance to watch the film then decide to abort. I told her I would adopt her son if she would just give him life, but she didn't.

I am not a huge fan of Trump, but I had to vote for him because of the opportunity of possibly having conservative judges appointed to the Supreme Court. Hopefully one day in my lifetime we will see the reversal of Roe vs. Wade. Until then we need to read postings like yours.

Thank you for your music and your beautiful mind. Best wishes to you and Ami.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06469134190540969969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858221344929265622.post-74888342028781753632018-11-17T11:10:46.544-08:002018-11-17T11:10:46.544-08:00WONDERFUL. I so agree that many spiritual leaders (in name only) need to step up to the plate. Our minister USED to take bold, strong stands against many issues that we (my husband and I) were also against, but we have noticed that in the past few years, he has backed away from it all. That makes us pretty unhappy. THANK YOU for speaking up, especially for those who cannot speak for themselves. A blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours.Lesleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08104271857495905345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858221344929265622.post-29929142662004886822018-11-16T23:11:54.590-08:002018-11-16T23:11:54.590-08:00Brilliant, Chuck! I believe there's still hope, that this message will be heard if we continue to speak it, because it's true. After decades of being fed lies continually, people are starved for the truth. So when they hear it, it resonates deep in their souls and is welcomed as a rare opportunity for real sustenance. There are lemmings, but there are still so many good hearted people who sincerely seek to find light and hope amidst the intentional onslaught of chaos and fear being slung at them daily. All of us need to encourage one another and share the truth we have so that it will persist. Those who have ears to hear, let them hear.Kurt Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14726632495462999667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858221344929265622.post-4266516755687729932018-11-16T18:27:03.346-08:002018-11-16T18:27:03.346-08:00Well put. I was disappointed in our choice of presidential candidates this last cycle , but then I've been disappointed for many cycles previously. There just doesn't seem to be room for " politicians " who will act in the best interests of our nation as opposed to the best interests of those who will give them the most power votes or financial support .
As far as the issue of abortion I try not to be judgmental but when there is a choice between allowing a baby to develop and then be raised by a couple or family who loves them despite their beginning and destroying that baby's life because it's not convenient or it will cause a financial hardship I just don't understand anyone's mindset except the disconnection with who their creator is and who grants life .
God bless you and all of your family you are blessed that they call you father brother cousin uncle and a friend . Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or you may know our more common nickname of Mormons, our leaders are still speaking out and asking our members to live a moral and a kind life . That doesn't mean that there aren't mistakes made right? There always will be because we are humans that make mistakes or even aren't willing to think of others as they make decisions . Thanks again for speaking out where your heart leads you .Cathie in Uthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05305507320860440675noreply@blogger.com
